Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team.
In this role, you will be the face of Redrum El Campo—welcoming customers, guiding product selections, keeping the store fully stocked and clean, and ensuring full compliance with age-verification and security procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attentive Service: Warmly greet every customer within 5 seconds of entering and assist them in finding the right products.
- Point of Sale & Cash Handling: Efficiently operate the POS system, process transactions accurately, and maintain cash register balances.
- Store Maintenance & Merchandising: Restock shelves, maintain organized product displays, and keep the sales floor and counters clean at all times.
- Compliance & Security: Strictly enforce 21+ ID check laws for all tobacco/vape sales and follow all store opening/closing security protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (required by state and federal law for selling Tobacco/Vape products).
- Experience: 1+ years of retail sales, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred.
- Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and a strong track record of punctuality.
- Work Ethic: Strong communication skills, professional energy, and a commitment to staying actively engaged while on duty (no personal phone/headphone use on the floor).
