What You Will Do

• Efficiently operate a variety of material handling and packaging equipment
• Accurately identify parts, components, wires, and other materials using part markings, color codes, and container labels
• Follow desktop instructions, parts lists, forms, and other work instructions to complete tasks precisely
• Perform bulk counting using scales and tape & reel counters
• Fulfill orders according to Bill of Material (BOM) requirements
• Package parts appropriately to prevent damage, adhering to proper material handling and packaging techniques
• Store, shelve, and place inventory correctly following established procedures
• Utilize computer systems and printers for recording inventory transactions, generating labels, and labor charging
• Conduct cycle counts and meticulously record results
• Track materials both physically and within systems
• Package and ship materials following specific shipping instructions
• Distribute materials to various internal plant locations
• Build and break down boxes for various uses
• Collect and dispose of materials correctly
• Maintain adequate levels of packaging supplies and replenish as needed
• Recognize and address inventory discrepancies and work area issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including cycle counts and labor charging
• Train other employees and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
