Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a small ICU setting that operates similarly to a step-down unit, with occasional ventilator patients
• Maintain a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio across 2 ICU beds with up to 2 additional flex beds
• Float to alike internal units as needed, including occasional coverage of med/surg patients during high census periods
• May be required to float to other regional facility locations as operationally needed
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Current ACLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a small or rural ICU or step-down unit environment
• Familiarity with ventilator management
• Comfort with floating across multiple unit types or locations
