Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required License: Any active state RN or compact license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently - Previous travel experience required - Strongly preferred: Charge experience, trauma level experience Description: Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible to apply. The position requires working every other weekend and every other holiday. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams, including IV, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy. The patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily visits to the emergency department are approximately 122. Patient ratios are typically 4:1 during shifts. Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, is preferred. Review of references is not required for application. Weekend coverage will be required during the assignment. All candidates must be pre-reviewed prior to acceptance. A maximum of 10 days of requested time off is allowed during the contract period. More than one call-off may result in termination. No call no show will result in immediate termination. Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage is mandatory.
