Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our nonprofit finance team. This role focuses on cash management, remote check capture, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process remote check deposits and monitor daily cash activity
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong cash management and reconciliation skills preferred
- Experience with journal entries and general ledger accounting
