As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening in Englewood, CO , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $21.72 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipment‑related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, gates, yards, and other restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarm conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating security‑related concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing trailer areas, parking areas, and operational zones for unusual activity and/or policy violations. Document visitor activity, contractor access, vehicle movements, and security‑related incidents in required logs and reports while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
