Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Join an established team of 12 APPs

Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts/week

Call structure: Daily, weekend and holiday on-call assignments are split evenly among a team of 12 surgical PA's.

Practice setting: Inpatient supporting Carmel and Indianapolis

Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Board certified or board eligible in advanced practice provider

Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Execute precise endoscopic vein and radial artery harvesting to provide high-quality conduits, directly impacting the long-term success of revascularization procedures.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

One or more of the following required:

Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Physician Assistant credentialed from the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

Endoscopic Vein & Radial Artery harvest using the Maquet Vasoview Hemopro I and/or Hemopro II systems.

Surgical First assistant: cases include CABG, aortic and mitral valve repair/replacement, ECMO Insertion, VAD insertion & heart transplant cases.
