Night shift 5pm - 430am Monday to thursday $17
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators for our fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have sit-down propane forklift experience and thrive in dynamic settings, we invite you to apply. We have two openings: one for the day shift (6am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday) and one for the night shift (5:30pm - 4am, Monday to Thursday).
Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down propane forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist the production line by moving materials off the line, resetting palletizers, and wrapping pallets.
• Stack bags of mulch, soil, and dirt, ensuring the stability of double or triple-stacked pallets before storage.
• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment, which may be dusty, dirty, and hot for the duration of the shift.
• Participate in a 30-60-90 day performance evaluation process.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience with sit-down propane forklifts.
• Ability to work in outdoor and non-climate-controlled environments.
• Experience in manufacturing, particularly as a production worker, assembler, or machine operator.
• Proficiency in material handling, palletizing, and heavy lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Safety-first attitude.
• Good employment tenure, with a willingness to learn and be coachable.
• Forklift test and evaluation will be a significant part of the interview process.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Safety gear is provided, but you must have your own steel-toed boots or safety boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
