Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner opportunity joining an energetic and growing hospitalist team
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice and refer appropriately to physicians when needed
• All shifts available with no call required
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in an internal medicine or hospitalist setting required
• Comprehensive orientation program provided for all incoming providers

Compensation:
