• Department: Outpatient Physical Therapy
• Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday
• Facility: Orthopedic Center
• Location: Auburn, ME 04210

• Outpatient setting within a hospital environment.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region.
• Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Focus on personalized patient care.
• One-on-one therapy sessions.
• No overlapping appointments or double bookings.
• Schedule managed by therapists.
• Newly graduated Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and training opportunities available.

Our facilities include a regional referral hospital that features the only Cancer Care Center in the area, an orthopedic surgery center, and a heart and vascular institute. The Physical Therapist will provide medically prescribed therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring patient function while enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Care will be patient-centered and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.

• Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
• Create and execute tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery objectives.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate).
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
