Essential duties and skills: Your primary duty will be to bring your projects to successful completion. To achieve this goal, you must: Prepare structural calculations and details of structural elements for various materials. Exercise a thorough understanding of American Building Codes. Required education and experience: B.S. in Civil Engineering is required; MSCE and PE license are preferred. Master's degree in civil engineering is preferred. Other requirements: Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential and commercial buildings analysis, design and detailing. Experience with at least one commercially available structural analysis software such as RISA 3-D, STAAD, or SAAP is required.
