Evercare at Stearns is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Cook/Aide to join our team in Granite City, IL. As a member of our food services team, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our residents. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences
• Assist with food preparation, such as chopping, dicing, and cooking ingredients

• Restock food and supplies as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors
• Participate in menu planning and execution, ensuring meal quality and presentation

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience is preferred; on-the-job training will be provided
• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary education or experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
