Admissions Director

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Director to join our team in a full-time position. The Admissions Director will oversee the admissions process, coordinate patient referrals, and serve as a liaison between hospitals, families, and the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with admissions, insurance verification, business development, and relationship-building within the healthcare community.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the admissions process from referral through admission
- Review clinical referrals and facilitate admission decisions
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations
- Develop relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, and referral sources
- Conduct facility tours and meet with prospective residents and families
- Support census growth through marketing and business development efforts
- Maintain knowledge of MassHealth, Medicare, and Medicaid programs
- Complete admission documentation and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
- Healthcare admissions, intake, case management, marketing, or business development experience preferred
- Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, and MassHealth preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
- Familiarity with skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or sub-acute rehabilitation settings preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- $55,000 - $75,000 per year
