The role involves providing care during labor and delivery. Registered Nurses in this specialty will monitor fetal heart rates and maternal health. Candidates must hold the required certifications for the role. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential. Applicants should have experience in a labor and delivery setting. Teamwork and collaboration with other healthcare professionals are crucial for success. The schedule is primarily night shifts. Flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the unit.
