Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist with a solid background in both sterile and non-sterile compounding within a specialty retail environment. The role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire position, providing a chance to transition into a permanent staff pharmacist role.

Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense prescriptions accurately in a specialty retail setting
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding following safety and quality standards
• Utilize PK order entry system (training provided) to process prescriptions efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience required
• North Carolina pharmacy license mandatory
• Experience with sterile compounding highly valued
• Non-sterile compounding experience considered a strong asset
• Familiarity or willingness to learn PK order entry system
