Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join its thriving outpatient behavioral health department in Daytona Beach, FL . This full-time opportunity features flexible office hours, no inpatient responsibilities, and limited phone-only call coverage . The department provides a balanced mix of general psychiatry and substance use treatment, supported by a highly experienced and collaborative multidisciplinary team. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for adult patients. Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions as clinically appropriate. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team that includes Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, LCSWs, LMHCs, and crisis intervention specialists. Participate in the management of substance use disorders and support addiction treatment programs, including Suboxone therapy. Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Engage in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives. Qualifications Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry; active Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
