Job specification

• Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Cardiac Progressive Care unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee patient care activities within the unit, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards related to cardiac care services.
• Serve as a key leader and responder during cardiac emergencies, providing direction and support to the team.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
• Neonatal Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• 2 professional references are mandatory
