Position Overview

Mee Memorial Hospital is seeking experienced and flexible Travel Registered Nurses for a high-priority Med/Surg assignment covering both adult and pediatric patients on night shift.

This role also requires floating to the Skilled Nursing Department, making it ideal for nurses who are adaptable, confident in diverse patient populations, and comfortable working in a community hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and non-critical pediatric Med/Surg patients
• Float to Skilled Nursing Department as needed
• Utilize Cerner EMR efficiently and accurately
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain compliance with hospital standards and crisis staffing expectations

Schedule & Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Holiday coverage required

Required Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Active California RN License (IN HAND)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Experience caring for non-critical pediatric patients

Preferred:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Skilled Nursing/rehab floating experience
