Job Title: Radiation Oncology Physician


Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Radiation Oncology Physician to provide coverage for a vacation period during the week of November 10th to 12th, 2026. The position involves working three days, with preferred shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; other scheduling options will be considered. Call is not required. This is a clinical setting focused on delivering advanced radiation therapy to adult patients with various medical conditions related to cancer treatment.


Key responsibilities include diagnosing cancer, developing personalized treatment plans, administering radiation therapy, monitoring patient progress, managing side effects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and engaging in research efforts to improve patient outcomes. The role requires recent, hands-on experience in radiation oncology, strong communication skills, and appropriate licensure and certifications.

Unit Information:

• Patients: Adults with diverse conditions
• Staff: 1 provider, 1 NP, 1 LPN
• Patient Ratio: 1:10-15
• Charting System: EPIC
• Medication Dispensing System: Pixys
• Acuity Level: Acute

Qualifications:

• NY State Medical License
• Board-eligible or Board-certified in Radiation Oncology
• Minimum 2 years recent experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Neat, well-groomed appearance with natural hair color
• Conservative jewelry and makeup
• ID badge required at all times
• No cell phone use during shifts

Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $2,378.61
