• Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain /cctv security systems
• including cameras,NVRs, DVRs, network switches, and associated equipment.
• Install and service intrusion alarm systems, door contacts, motion detectors, glass-break detectors, keypads, control panels, and related devices.
• Install and service access control systems, including card readers, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, electric locks, power supplies, and control panels.
• Install and terminate low-voltage cabling, including CAT5e, CAT6, security cable, access control cable, and other specialty cabling.
• Perform cable routing, labeling, testing, and documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Program and configure security equipment as directed and within the technician's level of training and authorization.
• Perform system testing and verify proper system operation before leaving the jobsite.
• Read and interpret floor plans, security drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturer instructions, and project documentation.
• Complete service tickets, installation reports, inspection forms, photographs, and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, equipment, and work performed.
• Maintain company, equipment, inventory, and assigned vehicle in a clean and professional condition.
• Communicate clearly with customers, project managers, supervisors, and other trades.
• Coordinate work with general contractors, electricians, IT personnel, property managers, and customer representatives when necessary.
• Follow company procedures for material handling, equipment installation, customer property, and jobsite access.
• Identify additional service needs or system deficiencies and report them to management.
• Follow all company safety requirements and applicable jobsite safety rules.
• Perform other duties related to electronic security and low-voltage installations as assigned.
