We are centrally located on the Carolina coastline -Charleston is just a short drive to the south and Wilmington to the north.Key Responsibilities:Clinical PracticePersonally undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Center and across the practice.Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.Patient CareEnsures established patient care standards are maintained.Treats all patients and their caregivers with respect and equality.Maintains confidentiality on all issues.Liaises with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.Teamwork and communicationDemonstrates ability to participate as an active and effective member of a team.Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.Participates in team meetings and activities.OtherPerform other tasks as reasonably requested.ExperienceDemonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiation therapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environmentStrong empathy, interpersonal and communication skillsStrong knowledge of radiation therapy and associated allied healthcare servicesRegistration as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and eligible for applicable state licenses.
