The facility operates as an inpatient hospital requiring specialized mammography assistance with comprehensive women's imaging capabilities. The department is equipped with Cerner imaging technology and ScribeSystem dictation software to support efficient clinical workflow. The facility maintains high standards for diagnostic accuracy while serving patients requiring breast screenings, diagnostic imaging, and interventional breast procedures.

Detroit offers diverse attractions including museums such as the Detroit Institute of Arts, Michigan Science Center, and Museum of African American History, along with entertainment venues like the Museum of Illusions and Game Show Battle Rooms. The area features shopping destinations like Great Lakes Crossing Outlets located 28 miles away, and cultural events including arts festivals and theater performances. Visitors can explore the region through self-guided walking tours that highlight the area's history and cultural significance.

Clinicians will provide comprehensive women's imaging services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in an inpatient setting. Daily responsibilities include performing breast screenings, diagnostic cases, and breast procedures throughout the day while managing approximately 40-50 patients daily. The clinicians will utilize Cerner equipment with ScribeSystem dictation for efficient case documentation and reporting. Board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment with no call responsibilities.
