Job Description

Job Summary:

Performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Works independently with clinical expertise to ensure safe, accurate, and timely imaging services while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Execute diagnostic radiology procedures with precision while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assess patient condition and address their needs to facilitate cooperative and effective imaging sessions.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to deliver high-quality images for provider review.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including privacy and safety standards.
• Assist with department orientation and support training of new staff or students.
• Document procedures and manage images according to facility protocols and record-keeping standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CA CRT Licensure and ARRT (XR) Certification.
• Possess BLS (AHA) certification.
• Have fluoroscopy licensure and at least 2 years of radiology experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently during day shifts, with flexibility for rotating weekends.
• Maintain updated certifications and valid licensure, including Nursys verification if applicable.
