Maintenance Technician Pay Rate and Hours:

• $20 per hour, plus depending on experience
• 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (with possible overtime), Monday – Friday

About the Role
The Maintenance Technician will oversee multiple locations and perform various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will install and inspect machines and electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure industrial machines remain operational.

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Requisition supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Must have reliable transportation to maintain multiple company facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's degree or technical school training preferred.
• 5+ years of related mechanical experience working in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.
• Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment. In-depth knowledge of system maintenance.
• Able to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management.
• Good communication, basic computer, and reporting writing skills.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment.
