MACHINE OPERATOR: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time: Responsible for operating machines at a safe and efficient level according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to fulfill plant production demands. Operator will follow equipment procedures when performing startup, shutdown, Clean In Place (CIP), and while troubleshooting equipment when appropriate. Record and maintain all related documentation, usage and ingredients per SOP. Document and communicate production deficiencies to supervisors and management. Report and communicate critical information during shift change overs. Proper use, cleaning and storage of tools to ensure quality specifications are met. Continually monitor cheese and machines for compliance with specifications, making adjustments as necessary. Performs required product testing and communicate with the lab to maintain proper moisture content and ensure specifications are met. Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed. Adhere to all aspects of company and customer safety, sanitation, and site policies. Assist with training new employees. Provide assistance to the maintenance personnel for machine repairs or troubleshooting. Adhere to all Quality, Food Safety, Safety and GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity.Other duties as assigned. COOK OPERATOR: 1. Responsible for operating machines at a safe and efficient level according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to fulfill plant production demands. 2. Operator will follow equipment procedures when performing start-up, shut-down, Clean In Place (CIP), and while troubleshooting equipment when appropriate. 3. Responsible for following measurements, adding ingredients to the machine and overseeing the cheese blending process to ensure proper moisture content and consistent quality product. 4. Record and maintain all related documentation, usage and ingredients per SOP. 5. Document and communicate production deficiencies to supervisors and management. 6. Report and communicate critical information during shift change overs. 7. Use cooker thermometer and chart recorder to track cheese temperature, including the proper use, cleaning and storage of tools to ensure quality specifications are met. 8. Continually monitor cheese and machines for compliance with specifications, making adjustments as necessary. 9. Performs required product testing and communicate with the lab to maintain proper moisture content and ensure specifications are met. 10. Provide assistance to the maintenance personnel for machine repairs or troubleshooting. 11. Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.12. Adhere to all aspects of company and customer safety, sanitation, and site policies.13. Assist with training new employees. 14. Adhere to all Quality, Food Safety, Safety and GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity.15. Other duties as assigned.

JOB INFORMATION:

• POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 5
• JOB TYPE: Full Time
• WAGE PER HOUR $20.18 -  $21.18
• HOURS PER WEEK: 40+EXPECTED OVER TIME: 10-15 hours per week.
• WORKWEEK: 1st shift: Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm / 2nd shift: Mon- Fri 3pm - 11pm / 3rd shift: Sun - Thurs 11pm - 7am
• CAN THEY WORK EXTRA DAYS? : Only OT required
• HOW OFTEN WILL THEY WORK EXTRA DAYS?: Weekly
• WILL THEY WORK WEEKENDS? ADD RATE: Yes, Sat - regular rate unless over 40 and Sun - Overtime rate (1.5)

REQUIREMENTS

• EXPERIENCE: Experience with Machine operation, food production, or mechanical inclination is what we are truly looking for, if its relatable I'll look at their resume. If they have no experience that is relatable then I wouldn't be interested
• CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK: Yes, applicants must be able to pass a criminal check, performed by AMPI, before departure from place of recruitment.
