Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,552 per week in Cleveland, OH

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44140!

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Participate in orientation assessments including an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate evaluation, with an acceptable score required on both
Rotate holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday as scheduled
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license - must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification

Active ACLS certification

Active NIHSS certification

required - must be in hand at time of submission
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months, is required for submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
One year of recent oncology or chemotherapy administration experience preferred; experienced oncology nurses are encouraged to apply, as training may be provided to qualified candidates interested in chemotherapy administration
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
Experience working in a large academic or high-volume hospital environment
