Aerospace Composite Technician job at Insight Global. Poway, CA. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Composite Technician to join our team for a large-scale wet layup project. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a composite or aerospace technician. Key Responsibilities Execute wet layup procedures following engineering specifications and industry standards. Prepare layup materials, including resin and reinforcement fabrics, ensuring proper handling and storage. Lay up composite materials into molds, ensuring accurate alignment and placement. Conduct necessary curing processes, monitoring temperature and humidity. Inspect completed components to ensure adherence to quality standards, identifying any defects or inconsistencies. Maintain detailed records of work performed and any deviations from standard processes. Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and improvements. Skills and Requirements Minimum of three years of experience as a composite or aerospace technician. Proficient in use of composite materials. Strong understanding of wet layup techniques and processes. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with advanced composite materials and aerospace applications. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to aerospace.
