Make a meaningful difference in K-12 education as a School Psychologist supporting multiple schools in the upcoming academic year. This full-time, four-day work week contract position offers the chance to work alongside dedicated educators and help a diverse range of students—from kindergarten to 12th grade—achieve their best possible outcomes.
As part of a collaborative and student-focused environment, you will engage with students presenting with mild to moderate disabilities, providing both assessment and counseling services. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting the emotional well-being and academic success of each student in your caseload.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience serving K-12 students in a school or educational setting
- In-depth understanding of mild to moderate disabilities, assessments, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability in managing a varied caseload across multiple school campuses
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct support, crisis intervention, and counseling for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school teams to create supportive learning environments
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs that foster positive mental health and coping strategies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely compliance with all reporting requirements
