Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Gillmann Services is now hiring a Maintenance Technician for work between Hinton, Princeton, and Talcott!

**Must have previous experience in a maintenance role to be considered**

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical, plumbing systems, appliances, etc.
General and preventative maintenance to apartment units
Perform drywall installation and repairs, painting, trim work, flooring repair and installation
Perform light electrical work, install switches, lights, outlets, appliances
Perform light plumbing repairs and installation of toilets, tubs, shower fixtures, sinks
Maintain compliance with all site safety standards and regulations
Other duties as required

Requirements

Previous experience in construction, apartment and general maintenance
Familiar with all hand and power tools required of the trade
Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to make accurate measurements and cuts
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with residents and property management
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Consent to drug and background screening
