Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An established hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a knowledgeable inpatient overnight pharmacist to provide critical pharmacy services. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your inpatient pharmacy skills in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting patient care across multiple campuses. Licensed pharmacists or those with pending New Mexico licenses expected to be issued within 10 days are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient pharmacy services during the overnight shift, ensuring accurate dispensing and clinical review of medications
- Support pharmacy operations at both Women’s and Westside hospital campuses as needed
- Utilize EMR system EPIC to document and review medication orders and patient information
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensure safe medication use
- Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards throughout all pharmacy activities
Schedule:
- 7 on/7 off schedule
- Overnight shift: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience required
- Montana Pharmacist license preferred; New Mexico license required or license pending with issuance expected within 10 days
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system is advantageous
This is a 13-week contract position starting on September 28th with opportunities to demonstrate your skills in a multidisciplinary hospital setting.
