Hospitalist - Physician

Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician in Dallas, Texas Methodist Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nocturnist Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible, Interna Medicine trained physician. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Level I trauma center, where you will provide expert care to critically injured and ill patients. Why this position is perfect for you? * Schedule that supports your lifestyle: Work 7on/7off scheduling, allowing you ample time to recharge, pursue personal interests and maintain a healthy work-life balance. * Be a part of our dynamic team: Work with 40 Hospitalist physicians and APPs * Ability to work with Residents: Be a part of growing and shaping new Hospitalists Job Requirements: * Must be willing to work Nocturnist position * Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) * Must be ABIM Certified * Must have active Texas Medical License and DEA * Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center, is preferred Job Responsibilities: * Collaborate and communicate effectively with other physicians, APPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals * Conduct thorough physical assessment and medical histories of hospitalized patients * Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory tests, to make accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings and test results * Develop and implement patient tailored treatment plans * Provide patient and family education regarding their condition and treatments * Maintain accurate medical records and follows the standard practices of documentation * Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance * Stay up to date on evidence-based practices relevant to hospital medicine and follow hospital-based protocols Come join Methodist Medical Group and make a difference in the Dallas community.
