Position Summary

The Speech Therapist assesses patients and develops an age appropriate treatment plan based on functional abilities. S/he adheres to the Standards of Speech Therapy Practice.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of patients and development treatment plans
• Provides Patient Treatment
• Collaborates with Rehab Team members
• Ability to assess and develop treatment plan
• Assists with Department Function

Qualifications

Education:

• Masters Degree

Experience:

• 0-2 yrs

License:

• SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Certifications:

• BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)

About the Team

St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stoke Center, and has a level III NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Childrens Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center, which is the only dedicated childrens hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando.
