Key duties include: Inspect railcars for damage, wear, and serviceability. Perform repairs and document inspections and completed work. Identify repair needs beyond company capabilities. Lubricate components and apply required stenciling. Assist with railcar cleaning and preparation. Operate company vehicles and equipment, including pickups, ATVs, tractors, and service vehicles. Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications Railcar repair or rail industry experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Welding experience required (4G, 5G, and Stick Welding). Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license required.
