About the Position

Otolaryngology Locums - North Carolina Physician, Light Call

Highlights

• 2 weeks/month; ongoing need until permanent hire
• Light call; mostly phone consults, rare in-person
• Clinic + surgery mix; Friday reserved for OR
• Full support team including 2 PAs and MAs

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
• Clinic setup: 3 rooms/physician with scribe and MA support
• EPIC charting system
• Collaborative environment with 2 ENT physicians

Schedule

• Monday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM (full-week commitment)
• Half-day admin, 3.5 days clinic, Friday surgery (or clinic)
• Clinic volume ~16 patients/day

Cases and Procedures

• Bread-and-butter ENT: tonsils, adenoids, sinus cases
• 2-3 OR cases on Fridays if scheduled
• No trauma, no plastics, no facial reconstruction

Requirements

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology
• Active North Carolina license required
• BLS and DEA required
