Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite direct hire opportunity in Lewes, Delaware offers the chance to play a vital role in managing complex litigation matters within a fast paced legal environment. The position works closely with attorneys, court personnel, clients, and other legal professionals to help drive cases forward and ensure critical deadlines are met. Individuals who thrive in detail oriented settings and excel at balancing multiple priorities will be well positioned for success.

Compensation:
Up to $100,000/year

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal:

• Coordinate litigation support activities throughout the lifecycle of cases, ensuring deadlines, milestones, and case progress are effectively tracked and managed.
• Prepare, review, organize, and maintain a variety of legal documents, correspondence, exhibits, and case related materials with a high level of accuracy.
• Oversee electronic court submissions and filing processes while ensuring compliance with applicable court procedures and requirements.
• Facilitate deposition scheduling, hearing preparation, trial logistics, and the assembly of supporting documentation for legal proceedings.
• Maintain organized case records, assist with discovery efforts, conduct factual and legal research, and serve as a point of communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills for the Litigation Paralegal:

• 3 to 5 years of experience supporting litigation matters within a law firm environment.
• Working knowledge of Delaware court procedures, with experience supporting matters within specialized business courts preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise with electronic filing systems and managing court related documentation.
• Advanced proficiency with document creation, editing, formatting, and file management using Microsoft Office applications and PDF software.
• Proven ability to support litigation matters from initial case development through trial preparation while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
