Physician Radiology-Interventional - Competitive Salary

Job Description Opportunity: DO;MD - Interventional Radiology Job Details: Interventional Radiology coverage needed for daytime procedures and possible diagnostic reading between cases Typical shifts are 7:30/8:00 AM through 4:30/5:00 PM No weekends or on-call coverage required Position is used to fill shift needs as they become available or when alternative options cancel Must be willing to work at two locations as needed; providers will be informed of assigned location in advance and will not be required to work both sites on the same day Ultrasound-guided procedures include: Liver Biopsy, Lymph Node Biopsy, Neck Biopsy, Paracentesis, Prostate Biopsy, Renal Biopsy, Thoracentesis, and Thyroid Biopsy CT-guided procedures include: Bone Biopsy, Drainage, Lung Biopsy, and Retroperitoneal Biopsy Additional procedures include: Bone Marrow Biopsy, Gastrojejunal Tube Exchanges, GB Drain, IVC Filter, Lumbar Puncture, Nasogastric Tube, Nephrostomy Tubes and Exchanges, PICC, Tunneled Dialysis Catheter, and Tunneled Pleurx (chest and abdomen) Additional support welcomed if proficient in: Lung and Renal Ablations, AAA Endo Stents, Renal Vascular Stents, Embolizations, IVC Removals, and Percutaneous Gastrostomy Tubes Position is available due to a retiring candidate Facility: This acute care hospital is part of a large, well-established integrated health system serving patients across a broad regional area.
