Job Details Job Title: Lecturer in Biology Location: Alpine Department: Natural Sciences Job No.: Position# 999893 Posting Date: 11/05/2024 Until Filled: Yes Appointment Date: 01/16/2025 Salary: Commensurate with experience Required M.S. in Biological Sciences, strongly prefer broad training in biology; a strong interest in teaching excellence; Must be able to teach in-person on the SRSU Alpine campus. Primary Responsibilities Teach 12 semester credit hours per semester. Courses can include, but not be limited to, General Botany, General Zoology, Biology for Majors I and II, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology and other freshman and sophomore level biology courses. Delivery of courses will be through face to face as well as distance delivery. Position is Security Sensitive. Nine month position, yearly contract, with summer teaching possible. The Department of Natural Sciences offers bachelors and masters degrees in Biology, Geology, Natural Resource Management, and Range and Wildlife Management.
