Payroll Coordinator

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Coordinator in Columbia, MD. Job Description: The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for accurately processing employee payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with applicable payroll laws and company policies. Responsibilities:
- Payroll Coordinator will process biweekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain employee payroll and timekeeping records
- Review timesheets, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments
- Assist with payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies
- As a Payroll Coordinator, you will prepare payroll reports and support payroll audits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 3+ years of payroll or accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
