Server Part Time Store Hourly South Bend, IN, US SERVER - Job Description Title: Server Reports to: Manager on Duty Summary of Position: Responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, the server is expected to know and execute the Wings Etc. Server Top Ten in order to make our guests feel welcomed, comfortable, important and relaxed, providing a best‑in‑class dining experience. Prepares tables, rolls silverware, makes sure condiments are refilled and performs other checklist tasks. Stays updated on current menu, liquor and beer choices, and specials. Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Greets guests within 60 seconds of being seated at the table. Promotes specials and programs. Offers specific drinks, desserts and appetizers. Writes orders on server pad. Treats all guests in the restaurant as their own. Assures guest food is at the table within 12 minutes of being called in. Delivers food and beverages. Pre‑buses and busses tables. Uses POS system for order entry, transaction processing of cash, credit cards and Wings Etc. Gift Cards. Provides guest with exact change in cash. Communicates: speaks and writes English. Math: accurately able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Food safety knowledge and/or certification. Stamina: must be able to stand on your feet for long periods and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds from storage.
