Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic environment. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, providing education, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as needed.
• Provide education to mothers and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with Baby Friendly guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; 3 years preferred.
• Certifications: NRP, EFM, ACLS, STABLE.
• Registered Nurse licensure, active and in good standing.
• Travel experience required.
