Must-Have:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Relevant experience in sterile processing preferred.


Description:
Responsible for sterile instrumentation processing.
Perform terminal cleaning and decontamination of patient care instrumentation and equipment in accordance with regulatory agency standards.
Conduct diagnostic and biological testing of surgical sterilization equipment.
Distribute supplies to various departments and nursing units as needed.


Essential Functions:
Reassemble and wrap instrumentation trays for surgery and other departments per recommended practices.
Process stock for surgery and central sterile processing.
Responsible for the decontamination of patient care equipment and surgical instrumentation.
Assemble sterile instrumentation and supplies for surgical procedures according to specifications.
Rotate instrumentation and supplies, and check stock.
Practice safe and effective sterilization procedures.
Coordinate timely preparation of equipment needed for scheduled procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
