Associate Environmental Engineer

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources practice in Reno or Las Vegas, NV. The successful candidate will work on high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters, focusing on the mining industry and environmental issues. Duties Assist clients with environmental issues and regulatory compliance. Support litigation matters related to the mining industry. Navigate permitting processes and defend project approvals. Collaborate with partners and engage with federal and state agencies. Requirements Three to seven years of experience in environmental and regulatory law. Ability to excel under pressure and meet demanding schedules. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Teamwork ethic and critical analytical skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in Nevada or eligibility to waive in.
