Key Responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients and create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and document care in line with physician directives and clinic protocols.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Oversee discipline-specific services as needed.
• Engage in student education and your own professional development.
• Maintain your professional licensure and adhere to state practice regulations.
• Follow organizational safety and performance improvement guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
• Active physical therapy license in Connecticut is required to begin the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Preferred experience in outpatient physical therapy, including patient evaluation and care plan development.
• Familiarity with documentation practices, including goal setting and letters of medical necessity.
• Ability to adhere to clinic policies regarding patient safety and infection control.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supervising students or providing clinical education.
• Knowledge of performance improvement processes and involvement in quality initiatives.
• Experience in fast-paced outpatient settings with diverse caseloads.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
