Job Requirements

• Board certification required
• Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA registration required
• ACLS and ATLS certifications required
• Experience in trauma surgery, general surgery, and acute care coverage
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant physician experience required
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity trauma setting
• Must be responsive and timely with privileging and credentialing paperwork

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma surgery locum tenens coverage for inpatient and outpatient needs
• Manage night-shift trauma call coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Perform and support general surgery procedures as needed
• Handle ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement
• Support laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
• Maintain strong communication and documentation throughout the credentialing process
