Senior Housing Options PT Development Coordinator

: Description:

Summary/Objective: To support the Development Department and fundraising and marketing program within the organization to further our mission.

Essential functions:

• Provide administrative support for the department
• Support comprehensive fundraising and marketing plans
• Assist in stewarding individual, corporate and community donors and funders
• Provide grant information gathering and support
• Gift-entry in CRM and other data entry as needed
• Process donor acknowledgement letters
• Provide fundraising event support
• Assist with marketing needs to support the individual communities and SHO

Work environment:

• Office setting; may sit for long periods
• Possible external outreach visiting communities, donors and attending outside meetings
• Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking
• Lift up to 20 pounds

Competencies:

• Deep commitment for the organization's mission and vision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English or bilingual)
• Comfortable working with Microsoft 365 products
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma
• At least 2 years in an office setting
• Experience providing administrative support
• Strong written and verbal skills

Expected Hours of Work:

This role is considered part-time (20-25 hours a week)
