Ideal candidates are confident in school-based practice and ready to work 37.5 hours per week, delivering high-quality speech and language services across diverse student populations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working in schools with both elementary and middle school caseloads
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve students at one elementary and one middle school within the district
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy in alignment with state and district guidelines
  • Maintain timely documentation and data reporting as required by the district
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary education team
  • Communicate progress and strategies with families, teachers, and other service providers
  • Support students’ educational access and participation through effective intervention

This contract assignment offers a stable schedule with immediate start through May 2027.
