Facilities Maintenance Technician

Back Facilities Maintenance Technician HTI is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC . This position supports all plant infrastructure, utilities, HVAC systems, cranes, and facility equipment. Pay: $35.77/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional Weekends) Location: Anderson, SC What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair facility‑related mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation of plant infrastructure Maintain and repair chilled water systems, cooling towers, air compressors, and HVAC equipment Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and monitoring systems Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, piping, and hydraulic systems Diagnose and repair motors, starters, switchboards, controls, and other electrical equipment Weld and fabricate modifications and repairs as needed Assist with machinery moves, rigging, and equipment installation Support continuous operation of plant utilities including compressed air, water, heating, and cooling systems Maintain equipment lubrication programs and facility maintenance records Apply 5S standards and support a safe, organized work environment What You Need High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of PLC systems and electrical troubleshooting Experience with HVAC, facility utilities, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, depth gauges, and HVAC gauges Welding and fabrication experience preferred Knowledge of industrial safety practices and maintenance procedures Ability to wear a personal fall protection harness and work in various facility environments What We Offer Competitive pay at $35.77/hour Stable first‑shift schedule with occasional weekend work Opportunity to work on a wide variety of facility and utility systems Long‑term career growth with a global automotive manufacturer Collaborative team environment focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement If you're a hands‑on maintenance professional who enjoys solving complex electrical and mechanical challenges, apply today with HTI. #J-18808-Ljbffr
