Damper Assembly / Panel Builder

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and electrical assemblies, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Damper Assemblers and Panel Builders to join their team. 

Job Titles: Damper/ Panel/ Electronic Assembly- working with HVAC units

Location: Manheim, PA

Pay Range: $18-$19/hr plus shift differentials for all shifts 

All shifts available!

Panel Builder-

• Assemble UE/UR, Bard, and MC product lines according to company standards using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assemblies, including wiring, punching holes, drilling, and tapping.
• Test and troubleshoot units, reading schematics to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to complete assemblies efficiently and accurately.

 

Damper Assembler-

• Interpret basic dimension specifications, simple prints, and instructions to determine work to be done.
• Perform manual and repetitive assembly and sub-assembly functions including screwing, and bolting parts to shafts and dampers.
• Follow instructions to build finished products that meet technical standards and are free of defects.
• Operate various equipment such as drills, riveters, spot welders, drill presses, and other tools as necessary.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure the quality of finished products and identify defects for rework.

Electronic Assembly

• Assemble electrical and mechanical products and subassemblies using hand, electronic, and pneumatic tools. 
• Follow blueprints, manufacturing procedures, and documented work instructions. 
• Operate assembly equipment and perform a variety of manufacturing processes. 
• Conduct testing and inspections using electronic test equipment to verify product quality and functionality. 
• Troubleshoot, adjust, or replace electronic components to correct defects and report any concerns
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel to complete production goals. 
• Participate in continuous improvement and workplace organization initiatives. 

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools effectively.
• Ability to read and understand written English and follow work orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending, reaching, stretching, and twisting.
