Job Opportunity: Body or General Radiologist

Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent healthcare facility in New York City, is on the lookout for a full-time Body or General Radiologist. This facility is a 545-bed tertiary care center and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center located in the culturally rich borough of Queens, NY. The radiology team here is composed of a dedicated and friendly group of radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support personnel. Our radiology department is equipped with 4 CT scanners, 1 MRI machine, and a state-of-the-art Siemens biplane interventional suite, which plays a vital role in our new stroke program.

This position presents a unique chance to join a team with remarkably low turnover; many radiologists have built their careers here over several decades. Key Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic studies, focusing on cross-sectional imaging such as CT, ultrasound, and MRI.
• Work daytime shifts from Monday to Friday.
• Participate in minimal on-call duties, which include several Saturday and Sunday shifts throughout the year.
• Explore moonlighting opportunities during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board eligible or certified in Radiology.
• Valid New York State medical license, DEA, and Medicaid number.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A solid work ethic and a commitment to teamwork within a healthcare system.

Working Conditions and Benefits

We offer a faculty appointment with our organization that reflects your credentials, experience, and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a highly competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunities. The salary range for this position is between $476,000 and $506,000, inclusive of faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
