PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP Or PA

UVA Community Health is seeking to employ a PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA to join our rapidly growing provider team at Prince William Medical Center. We believe in caring for the whole person – by getting to know them, having conversations and making personal connections. Our campus is home to our 70-bed, community hospital, Family Birth Center and 24/7 emergency department.

Responsibilities include:

• Visiting bedside and answering questions
• Ordering tests, medications and treatments
• Communicating with patients, their families and their primary care physician on condition and care
• Consulting with additional specialists, as needed
• Providing discharge instructions about further care, medication and follow-up
• Sending a hospital care summary to your primary care physician

Located a short distance from the hospital is UVA Health System Caton Merchant House, our assisted-living facility. Our Manassas campus is complemented by additional outpatient services in Gainesville, Haymarket, South Riding, Culpeper and Woodbridge.
